Is this real life? or is this just a fantasy?

Amazing. If my eyes could just speak, then these would be the right words that it would say as I'm standing at the gate of Gloria's Fantasy Land (GFL) at Dapitan City. I was on a family vacation last December 30, 2013 and it was one of my unforgettable experience. I have never set a foot on such a wonderful theme park ever since my entire life, and I was so amazed that I am still in the Philippines. The way the park was made was world class, it's a must go location if you ever want to travel and have fun at Mindanao.
My brother on the Mechanical Rodeo.
A mechanical rodeo. Yes, you heard it right! Even though its mechanical but i can still give you a challenge. Try to ride it for a minute without falling! In my attempt it was only 32 seconds, how long will you last?

Fireworks every night.
A spectacular fireworks display lights up the night sky every evening at the theme park. This is one of the main reasons why it is best to visit the place at a late evening.

The Swinger.
Bump cars.

Because I enjoyed the place so much, I only have a few photos of the rides. But there are a lot of rides at GFL, and each ride is worth trying. For more information about the rides you can check out this site: http://www.gloriasfantasyland.com/park-features/rides/

Horror house entrance.
GFL also has a horror house which they regard to as the Best horror house in asia. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to get in because the promo i availed didn't include the horror house.

Gloria's Fantasy Land in Dapitan is a perfect place to spend with your family specially when you are with kids because of the unlimited fun that it would give to you and also the festive feeling of the place. For more info you can visit their website at: http://www.gloriasfantasyland.com/

Of Bananas and Peace

There are many reasons to visit the brilliant province of Lanao del Norte. One of those reasons is Tubod. Tubod capture serenity, sports and culture in one place and gives you to a different sort of experience. Its lovely and panoramic sceneries could easily be your stress reliever. Visit their Municipal hall and set foot in their very own Rizal Park, which will remind you of nature and serenity

These photographs were taken by Angel Villarojo after the Rizal Day commemoration. The small hut shows their great love for bananas even after their festival was long done. This has become one of their trademarks as time passes by.
Sports are clearly part of their culture, as one would experience firsthand the sports they pride themselves with. Tennis is just one of those sports events that they promote with young and promising players with the tutelage of their parents. This love for sports also extends to racing motorbikes. Motorbike racing has grown popular in this area after a motorbike race track was developed in Tubod. Foreigners and Filipinos alike visit Tubod to experience the thrill and adrenaline rush that motorbike racing brings to them. Tourists would then witness the hospitality and cheerfulness of the citizens as they experience the fun and adventure.
Tubod is also home to the Mindanao Cultural Center that houses sports facility and a massive area that would fit hundreds and thousands of people. This center provides easy access to race track fields, huge swimming pools and an abundance of rooms for players during sports competitions or events.
Experience a beauty and calmness in one fell sweep as you set foot at Tubod, Lanao del Norte!

City of Golden Friendship

First stop from the many spots we'll encounter in Northern Mindanao is our very own city- the city of Golden Friendship. This city is widely known as Cagayan de Oro City, and has gained it's popularity due to the hospitality of the people, and just a tiny part of its legend. We'll take you to the few places in this city, before we start hopping to the next spot. Relax and enjoy as the beauty of this city unfolds before you.

Kagay-anons love to celebrate feasts and holidays, as much as they love to eat, enjoy and commemorate. This picture was taken by Markee S. Aclao at Divisoria. This pretty picture of aa Christmas tree is proof of the Kagay-anons love for holidays. Divisoria is a bustling part of the city, where numerous stalls and boutiques selling cheap items, are located. It is one of the commercial sites and one of the busiest areas within the city, where students, buyers and entrepreneurs venture. Great items are found here, not to mention great pig-out spots. On the next post, there might be a mention of one of those pig-out spots where you can enjoy a luxurious meal with a pocket-friendly price.
This picture was taken at McArthur park. This park is one of the biggest parks in the city, where the Municipal City hall is located.
This is the front view of the Municipal hall. This picture showed the less-busier working hours, since not one individual is seen lurking around the area. South of this area, one will see the huge statue on the third picture. A few benches littered the place, sheds where chess tournaments are held could also be seen here. Not to mention the beatific lights hanged on the branches of the trees. These lights give off an ethereal sense of calm every night.

More is in store for you, as we continue exploring the beautiful scenery in Cagayan de Oro City, where friendship is seen in the smiles of the children and the actions of its citizens.
Let us not forget the beautiful photos captured and edited by our very own Markee Aclao.
